Does Salesforce.com Foundation offer corporate sponsorships?

Salesforce.com Foundation does not offer corporate sponsorships. However, any salesforce.com full-time employee can apply for a Community Action Team grant to help support a team volunteer project. To receive one of these grants, a salesforce.com employee must serve as champion for a project in which a minimum of four salesforce.com employees volunteer 25 hours collectively.

How does a nonprofit engage volunteers from salesforce.com?

Each employee is given six days a year to volunteer. The best way to engage salesforce.com employees is to contact your region's volunteer manager with a volunteer request that would be appropriate for a team. We ask that you provide 2–3 weeks lead time to maximize volunteer recruitment results. Our goal at the Foundation is to build sustainable volunteer partnerships, led by salesforce.com employees, with local community organizations.

What is a Community Action Team grant?

Community Action Team (CAT) grants are inspired and led by employees who are partnering with qualified charitable organizations to identify community needs and then plan, organize and participate in responsive volunteer events. These grants are reviewed by an employee council and, if approved, sponsored by the Foundation. Nonprofits can receive a CAT grant by engaging salesforce.com employees and reminding them to take advantage of the CAT grant incentive program.
