Once sponsored in this way, the organization is eligible to receive donated licenses normally available only to 501c3 organizations.

Ineligible Organizations

Non-501c3 nonprofit organizations

Organizations that do not have a 501c3 designation, but rather a c4, c6 or other nonprofit status are not eligible to apply for our product donation program.

In addition, organizations that possess multiple IRS designations (i.e., a 501c3 and 501c6 status) but whose primary use of Salesforce.com products would not be for the 501c3 entity are not eligible to apply for our product donation program and should visit salesforce.com for information about purchasing licenses.

Hospitals providing patient care

Despite certain hospitals’ 501c3 status, hospitals that provide patient care do not qualify for our product donation program at our sole discretion.

If you are part of a healthcare institution and are wondering if your organization is eligible to submit an application, please contact crmdonation@salesforce.com.

School districts

Currently, school districts do not qualify for the product donation program and are encouraged to work with salesforce.com's public sector team.

Please note: Individual schools are welcome to apply if they meet the above requirements.

Organizations outside the U.S.

Organizations outside the United States that are recognized as a charitable institutional by their government may be eligible to apply for the product donation program. Applications will be reviewed on a case by case basis.  Please follow the outlined steps to submit your application. Please be aware, not all countries are eligible for the donation program at this time.
