Advanced reporting
The advanced reporting workshop provides a detailed explanation and demonstration of the advanced reporting functionality available in Salesforce.com. The workshop was prepared and delivered by Thomas Kim, a salesforce.com engineer of five years who specializes in analytics. Topics covered include:
- Creating and customizing a report;
- Filters;
- Tabular, summary and matrix reports;
- Groupings and aggregations;
- Dashboards;
- Custom reports; and
- Managing your reports.
Google Documents, Google Sites & Salesforce.com integration
This presentation covers how you can use Google Docs and Google Sites as a way to create, store and organize word processor documents, spreadsheets and presentations in the cloud. You will learn how to facilitate real-time collaboration using the application, something that is not possible with traditional office suite tools. The presentation was prepared and led by Jackson Rose, a sales engineer who has been a salesforce.com employee for over four years and a dedicated Foundation Product Council member for over two years.
Some of the topics covered include:
- Google integration with Salesforce.com;
- How to manage Google documents within Salesforce.com;
- How to create, share, manage and store Google documents;
- Types of Google docs and how to manage them;
- How to collaborate with others through Google docs and Google sites; and
- Overview and tutorial of Google sites—how to create pages, edit pages, add documents and widgets, and manage the site
Doing More with Less: Your Nonprofit in the Cloud
The Salesforce.com Foundation, Google and Facebook teamed up in Washington D.C. for "Doing More with Less: Your Nonprofit in the Cloud." This one-day gathering focused on how online "cloud" services and social applications can help nonprofits communicate, build community, and raise money more effectively and efficiently—doing more with less in these challenging economic times.

Administration Essentials 201
Get best practices from a salesforce.com expert during this comprehensive, four-day classroom training for users of the Enterprise Edition. These courses, offered through Salesforce.com, are available at a nonprofit discount.
CRM Administration for Nonprofits – Offered by Partner, Etherios
CRM Administration for Nonprofits utilizes salesforce.com's award winning CRM software to address realistic nonprofit scenarios.
The class is delivered by a live instructor over the internet in three half-day sessions. Each half-day consists of 4–5 hours of instruction. The illustrations and exercises will build on one another to demonstrate how a real-life nonprofit would operate utilizing Salesforce.com. Each day's class begins at the same time.

Nonprofit training policy for North America
- All courses held in North America are offered at a 50% discount off the list price to nonprofits and partners exclusively serving nonprofit clients.
- Three seats will be given priority advanced confirmation per class.
- After registration someone will contact you to schedule you for the first available class of your choice.
- This offer is available only to nonprofit organizations receiving donated or discounted licenses and partners with an exclusive nonprofit client base.
- Verification of your organization's nonprofit status or nonprofit exclusive partner will occur upon registration.
- This policy does not apply to classes held in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, or the Asia/Pacific region. Nonprofits in these regions should continue to register on the company website and enter the promotion code "nonprofit".

Nonprofit training policy for all other regions
Nonprofits outside North America can send one person to a 4-day Administrator Essentials course, provided a seat is available. The course is designed for the person responsible for the overall setup and maintenance of Salesforce.com, known as the System Administrator (which is listed as ADM-201 EE/UE). The workshop is a comprehensive, hands-on, multi-day workshop where participants learn and practice setting up, configuring and maintaining Salesforce.com for optimal results.
When you register for ADM-201 EE/UE, enter "nonprofit" as the Promotion Code. Your status as a nonprofit will be verified once the registration is received.
